Beware the unexpected consequences.
React quickly.
Even the best planning can have unexpected consequences.
Sometimes these will be beneficial.  At other times, they can cause serious difficulties.
The Chinese Government once banned imported coal believing they had access to sufficient supplies.  They then had power shortages and blackouts: because they had misjudged.
Be aware, and react quickly.
The story is told that there was a problem with deaths from cobra bites in the Indian city of Delhi.
The British Government of the day offered a bounty on cobra skins which was successful in reducing deaths.
However some enterprising Indians began breeding cobras for the bounty.
When they realised the British ceased the bounty.
The cobra breeders let their now “surplus production” loose in the streets … and the problem was back.
