Trust is an emollient that makes the relationships of life flow smoothly.
Consider how lack of trust and the resulting uncertainty impedes decisions.
Yet trust must be earned, sometimes one small step after another, and can be so easily destroyed if it is abused.
Trust may not be complete trust. It may exist in some situations but not in others.
Take care in whom you trust, but also take care to deserve other’s trust in you.
Once lost it may never be recovered.
